Variety shows, dance, theatre, comedy, circus arts, music, visual arts, film, a wide range of speech arts, history and heritage, exhibitions, conferences and workshops, guided tours and more. Thanks to its personalized recommendations as well as its fun and informative content, La Vitrine connects you to entertaining experiences you’ll love.
You can search according to different criteria, including your geographical location, specific date, what you’re in the mood for or what the group you’re with is seeking.
Yes, you can look at what’s on and use La Vitrine’s search tool filters to find what you need, but you won’t be able to access some of the site’s functionalities like Favourites.
It’s free. When you open an account and create your cultural profile, La Vitrine can suggest personalized experiences based on your preferences. You can also save your favourite events, exhibitions, artists and places for later when you need them. Plus, you can choose to receive personalized notifications so you don’t miss out on a thing.
The platform uses your geographical location, with your authorization. You can explore the cultural offer in a different geographical zone too. To learn more about our data management practices, please consult our Privacy Policy.
You can use the search tool (magnifying glass) at the top of the site to search according to the criteria proposed (date, place, discipline, free events, etc.)
Yes, La Vitrine offers family activities. La Vitrine’s search tool lets you filter activities by Audience and select only those activities suited to the age of the children with you.
Yes, La Vitrine offers free activities too! When you begin your search, you can display free activities only using the toggle button that appears above your search results.
In some cases, it might be specified on the description of the activity or the venue on La Vitrine’s platform. If this is not the case, we suggest looking for this information on the venue website of the activity you are interested in.
You can use La Vitrine’s search tool to filter the cultural offer according to your geographical position, a specific time, your cultural interests or according to the group you are with. You can personalize it even more by creating an account on the platform, then creating your profile so you can share your cultural experience preferences with us.
When you log in to your account, you can access this under the Account tab in Favourites. When you have an account and create a profile, La Vitrine can propose personalized experiences based on what you like. You can also save your favourite activities, places or artists so you can consult them later and choose to receive personalized notifications to ensure you don’t miss out on a thing. Plus, it’s all free!

Creating an account and managing my profile
Click on the link Forgot your password? on your account homepage to reset your La Vitrine password. (Account > Log in)
Go to the Account tab, click on Log in, then click on the link Forgot your password? and provide the e-mail address associated with your account. Next, you’ll receive an e-mail from La Vitrine’s Customer Service explaining the steps to follow to change your password so you can access your account and user profile.
To change your password, go to the Account tab, and click on Log in. Next, go to the section Connections and security, and click on the word Change next to Password or next to the e-mail address.

No. Once you have deleted your account, you can no longer reactivate it. You will have to create a new one.
Reservations / tickets
On the page of an activity, you’ll see a Tickets button that will redirect you to the ticket office of the venue hosting the activity. You can make your reservation there. Please note that La Vitrine is not a transactional platform and does not handle ticket purchases. Purchases are made directly at the ticket office of the partner offering the activity.
While we always like to keep on top of things, links to ticket offices sometimes don’t work. Please write to us at: [email protected] to let us know. Rest assured that we will correct it quickly so that you can finalize your purchase.
All of the online ticket offices offer credit card payments. Some ticket offices offer other options; simply click on the button Tickets to verify payment options for the activity in your shopping cart. Please note that La Vitrine is not a transactional platform and does not handle ticket purchases. Purchases are made directly at the ticket office of the partner offering the activity. If you would like to pay with cash, get in touch with the venue offering the activity to see if they have a physical ticket office and to find out its opening hours before going there.

Sometimes, free activities are offered, but only a limited number of participants can attend. Click on the Tickets button on the page of the activity, and you’ll be redirected to the ticket office of the venue where the activity is being held. You can reserve your free tickets there.
Some free activities do not require reservations, which is why there is no Tickets button on the page. Simply show up at the hour and date indicated to take advantage of this activity.
Ever since our ticket office closed in January 2020, La Vitrine no longer sells gift cards or gift certificates. However, gift cards or gift certificates purchased before this date will be honoured. You can be reimbursed for past or future cultural experiences, everywhere across Québec, no expiration date, until you have used up the credit on your gift card or gift certificate.
If you have a card (plastic) or certificates (the paper format used before the gift card), the procedure is different for the two. Gift cards can be reimbursed remotely but gift certificates must be mailed to us.
For gift card reimbursement, please write to Jean-François Bérard ([email protected]), Director, Finance and Administration at La Vitrine, with the following information and documents:
- the amount of the reimbursement
- proof of purchase or bill of sale for your venue ticket(s), which must show the name of the venue and the name of the show
- a photo or a PDF of the back of your gift card with the barcode and card number clearly visible
- a cheque specimen if you would like to be reimbursed by Interac transfer, or your mailing address is you prefer receiving a cheque (longer delays).

Creating an account on La Vitrine's Pro Zone
La Vitrine’s Pro Zone is for any professional, public or private cultural and/or artistic organization that offers cultural shows or activities in Québec.
Yes, you can create an account as an independent artist in the Pro Zone to post your events on La Vitrine. If you would like to use the same e-mail address, you will still have to create a professional account. Go to the tab Account and log in to your account. Then click on Sign up in My Account and follow the steps. If, however, you would like to use a different e-mail address from the one associated with your professional account, you will need to create an account with this address and follow the same steps by clicking on Sign up.
Speech arts, visual arts, film, circus arts, dance, history and heritage, comedy, music, theatre, variety. Please note that only cultural experiences can be registered on the platform. Sports, leisure or gastronomic activities, trade fairs where the main subject is not a cultural activity and corporative events are not eligible.

Your event probably appears on La Vitrine’s calendar because the ticket office of the venue is integrated with La Vitrine. Their event catalogue is set up through regular automatic imports.

Yes, you have to create a professional account to connect to the Pro Zone. The Pro Zone was created, first and foremost, to cater to the needs of organizations. You will need to complete your organization’s profile even if you are the contact person.
La Vitrine has to validate your registration application to ensure it meets eligibility criteria and that the proper information has been provided. Once your Pro Zone registration is approved, you can submit your events to include on the cultural calendar. The validation process can take up to three (3) working days.
No. Creating a Pro Zone account on La Vitrine is free of charge.
Posting your events on La Vitrine’s cultural calendar site is a free service.

Registering an event or an exhibition through the Pro Zone
Go to Lavitrine.com for consumers and try searching there. Or go to your Pro Zone, and when you start the steps for submitting an event, you’ll be asked to verify if your event already exists on the platform via a search tool. If it already exists, you’ll be able to see the event description and associated performances that are already registered.
