Théâtre Premier Acte
Premier Acte's primary mandate is to promote theatrical works by emerging artists or professional groups, as well as self-managed projects, by bringing together a series of shows in a theatrical season presented under its aegis.
Premier Acte aims to enable these artists to bring to life their creative projects, which would otherwise be difficult to bring to fruition.
The shows included in its season generally have no access to other presentation structures in the Quebec City region. They are often very low-budget productions, for which the pooling of financial, human and technical resources is essential. Premier Acte's mission is to be Quebec City's premier venue for young theatrical creation, a place of experimentation and development that is accessible and now recognized.
