The Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to develop, promote and raise the profile of music regionally, nationally and internationally, by serving musical works, artists and organizations, while fostering dissemination, production, education, animation and creation.
The programming of the Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique is, as befits the concept of a Maison de la Musique, geared towards musical discovery. There's a place for all kinds of music: classical, world music, jazz, blues, folk, progressive rock, indie and more.
Not only concerts, but also symposia and conferences, master classes, workshops, guided tours and concerts are presented, all with a musical flavour and with the aim of enriching the musical experience offered to the public.
Finally, the Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique is the organization responsible for animating and managing the Palais Montcalm (995 Place D'Youville, Quebec City), as well as coordinating the rental of halls and spaces.
