Summer theater on Île d'Orléans is a well-established tradition. Its illustrious builders include Félix Leclerc and Paul Hébert. In keeping with this tradition, the Nouveau théâtre de l'Île d'Orléans, founded in 2011, is co-directed by Sébastien Dorval and Claude Montminy.

Since its inception, the young theater has focused on quality productions, bringing together the region's finest artisans to create rhythmic, funny and contemporary plays.
