At the heart of the university campus, the Centre culturel de l'Université de Sherbrooke houses the Salle Maurice-O'Bready, the Galerie d'art, foyers and the Vieux Clocher de l'UdeS.
The fundamental mandate of the Centre culturel de l'Université de Sherbrooke is to provide the university community and the people of the region with access to artistic productions as daring as they are varied.
Salle Maurice-O'Bready
The fourth-largest concert hall in Quebec, and the only one of its kind in the region, Salle Maurice-O'Bready is the heart of the Centre culturel. It is ideal for large-scale events. Since 2014, the venue's stage infrastructure and scenographic equipment have benefited from a major upgrade to continue to meet the industry's most demanding broadcasting conditions.
The Art Gallery
True to its mission and educational approach, the Galerie d'art du Centre culturel de l'Université de Sherbrooke raises awareness of contemporary art, in all its diversity and forms, among the general public and the university community. The Gallery is a meeting place that brings intellectual joy through the dissemination of the arts.
