Thomas Hellman - Mythomane
Inspired by his capsules on Greek mythology in “Draw me a Sunday”, on ICI Radio-Canada Première, Thomas Hellman tells with virtuosity the creation of the universe, the birth of gods and humans.
He revisits, by integrating the Quebec oral tradition, the gallery of deities, from Zeus to Athena, from Venus to Prometheus, and he tells the arrival of the first aède, wandering poet, guardian of memory.
Accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Olaf Gundel, Thomas Hellman invites the audience to an epic show, halfway between theatre, concert and oral literature. Like the Minotaur in the Olympus of a great spoken tradition.
