Les Moontunes and Subsun
More dates
Les Moontunes is a singular, authentic Acadian heavy soul band that has made a name for itself as one of Eastern Canada's must-see acts, and continues to reach out to other galaxies with its celestial soundscapes.
Fans of soul, jazz and rock will be captivated by this group, who blend catchy grooves with interstellar rock flights to create their unique style.
Opening act: Subsun.
Combining the raw power of sludge, the psychedelic heaviness of doom, the shattered structures of progressive metal and a more melodic approach inherited from stoner rock, Subsun are a quartet from Gatineau, Quebec. The band, made up of André Bélanger (guitar), Jérémy Blais (drums), Simon Chartrand-Paquette (bass, vocals) and Jean-Michel Fortin (guitar, vocals), quickly made a name for themselves in the Quebec underground for their fuzz-saturated musical universe, punctuated by abrupt transitions and alternating between dark, anxiety-inducing atmospheres and fast, abrasive passages. But it's above all for their intense, energetic performances that Subsun make their mark among fans of bold tones and thunderous drums.
