La Cage aux folles

La Cage aux folles comes to the Studio-Cabaret at Espace St-Denis on October 3! This cult play by Jean Poiret, directed by Joël Legendre, will welcome 12 artists and transport you into a completely wacky universe! Audiences will discover the story of a homosexual couple upset by the announcement of their son's marriage to the daughter of a conservative politician. Laughter, derision and madness are the order of the day! Through projection sets - in a technological cabaret unique in Canada - we meet a homosexual couple whose peaceful existence is turned upside down when the son of one of them tells his father he's marrying the daughter of a Conservative politician. Marcel Leboeuf and Alex Perron play Georges and Albin respectively, the famous couple who run the transvestite cabaret “La Cage aux Folles”.
