About Constantinople Borrowing its name from the ancient city that was a beacon of light between East and West, the Constantinople musical ensemble was conceived by its artistic director Kiya Tabassian as a space for musical encounters and cross-fertilization. The ensemble is dedicated to passing on the world's musical traditions, creating new music and building bridges between cultures, eras, styles and peoples the world over.
