Making walls scream
Jade, 13, lives in Montreal with her mother, a renowned actress who is often on tour.
Tom, her best friend, introduces her to the world of street artist Banksy, and this awakens an incredible project in her: to travel to England in search of this anonymous creator, whom she believes to be her father. In Bethlehem, Angela, in her fifties, sees in a Banksy work the exact representation of her missing son. She too embarks on a journey to England, where she hopes to find answers. What will Jade and Angela find at the end of their quest thousands of miles away? In this game of coincidences, who will they meet?
On their journey to find the people they love, lost or never knew, the characters in Faire crier les murs embark on a quest for identity and initiation, driven by the free and peaceful artistic gesture of Banksy's creations. Art sometimes provokes decisive encounters. What if it had the power to make words resonate, to bring forth a work of art and meaning in the cracks of concrete walls, in the cracks of the world?
